Join the PTA and Support Floris Elementary

The Floris PTA serves to support the education of our children and the school community through educational enrichment activities, cultural initiatives, community and social events and funding of education purchases for the school. The PTA is made up of parents like you, as well as teachers and school staff who support our school by giving donations, volunteering their time and using their voices to raise the level of our children’s educational experience and the strength of our community.

The PTA can offer financial support outside of the school’s budget. It can enhance our faculty’s creativity and ability to inspire our children. While there are other fundraising events that will take place throughout the school year, the Membership Drive is the most important fundraising event we do all year and accounts for 40% of our fundraising budget. We are asking for your support today.

As a PTA member you have a voice and a vote in your PTA. We are asking for $35 per family or $5 per family for teachers and staff. Wether you contribute $35 or $350, it’s an affirmative statement of your support and helps us reach our goal of 100% family participation.
