The Floris Elementary PTA is looking for a few folks to fill the following board positions for the 2023-2024 school year!
VP of Fundraising and Social Events
This position oversees the following 4 areas:
- Fundraising
- Hospitality (Teacher and Staff Appreciation)
- Special Events (GLE Programs and The Spirit Ball)
- Social Events (Bingo and Movie Nights)
Please note that we have parents who have already volunteered to chair all of these committees for next year so, the VP of Fundraising and Social Event’s job will be to oversee these areas and provide guidance and support when/if needed. It is possible that we will add other events but this will be at the discretion of the person who fills this position.
Financial Secretary or Treasurer
We are looking for someone to fill the role of either the Financial Secretary OR Treasurer for the 23-24 school year.
The Financial Secretary would work closely with the Treasurer and would be in a supportive role carrying out various administrative duties throughout the year, as needed.
The Treasurer oversees the PTA budget, maintains records of members and incoming funds and is responsible for all other financial matters including reimbursement tracking and management.
