The Floris Elementary PTA is looking for a few folks to fill the following board positions for the 2024-2025 school year!
PTA President
Oversees all PTA events and facilitates all PTA board and general meetings.
VP of Fundraising and Social Events
This position oversees the following 4 areas:
- Fundraising
- Hospitality (Teacher and Staff Appreciation)
- Special Events (GLE Programs and The Spirit Ball)
- Social Events (Bingo and Movie Nights)
Please note that we have parents who have already volunteered to chair all of these committees for next year so, the VP of Fundraising and Social Event’s job will be to oversee these areas and provide guidance and support when/if needed. It is possible that we will add other events but this will be at the discretion of the person who fills this position.
VP of Community Affairs
The VP of Community Affairs coordinates and oversees all Floris after school programming (Both the Fall and the Spring)
Financial Secretary
The Financial Secretary would work closely with the Treasurer and would be in a supportive role carrying out various administrative duties throughout the year, as needed.
